Mailchimp brought me on to create a series of on-brand illustrations for their internal user personas. These visuals served as engaging, recognizable aids to help teams better understand their audience while staying aligned with Mailchimp’s playful and distinctive brand identity.
The Process
My role involved synthesizing user research into distinct yet flexible character designs. Each persona needed to reflect the specific and complex demographics using Mailchimp’s marketing tools, balancing clarity with adaptability.
Using existing Mailchimp illustrations and reference photos, I carefully crafted each character (using Procreate).
The Result
These illustrations and one-pagers provided an at-a-glance way for internal teams to connect with user needs, helping to guide decision-making across design, marketing, and product development.
